What is Worqly?

Worqly is a job application and organisation platform designed to help you manage your job search more effectively and complete applications faster. You can save jobs, track your applications, organise opportunities in one place, and use AI-powered tools to help with application questions, cover letters, and interview preparation. The goal is to help you stay organised and apply with more confidence and in less time.

What should I do first after creating my account?

Start by completing your profile with your experience, skills, and background information. The more detailed your profile is, the better the AI tools can support you. Then install the Chrome extension and begin saving jobs you are interested in to help you manage your job search more easily.

Do I need the Chrome extension to use Worqly?

No. You can use the Worqly portal without installing the Chrome extension and manually save jobs. However, the extension makes the experience much smoother by letting you quickly save jobs across major recruitment sites while browsing. It also gives you access to Worqly tools directly from job pages to save you switching tabs. If you regularly apply for jobs online, installing the extension is recommended.

Can Worqly apply to jobs for me?

No. You stay in control of all applications and submissions, but Worqly supports you through them to speed up the process.

Account and login
How do I create an account?

Visit the "Start Today" page and choose your plan. Then simply sign up with your details and confirm your email using the code sent to your inbox.

I didn't receive my confirmation code. What should I do?

First check your spam or junk, then use "Resend code" on the confirmation screen to have it sent to you again.

I forgot my password. How do I reset it?

Use the "Forgot password?" link on the sign-in screen and follow the reset steps to create a new password.

Why was I signed out?

Your session may have expired. Sign in again and retry the action.

The app says my session expired. What should I do?

Your session may expire automatically after a period of inactivity or after a security timeout designed to help protect your account. If this happens, simply sign in again and retry the action you were taking.

Why am I being asked to sign in again in the extension?

For security reasons, the extension may occasionally ask you to sign in again, especially after browser updates, long periods of inactivity, or account session expiry.

Building your profile
Why should I complete my profile?

Your profile helps power many of the features across the Worqly ecosystem. The more complete and accurate your profile is, the better the platform can tailor drafts, application support, interview preparation, and other AI-powered tools to your real experience and background. A strong profile also saves time later, as you won’t need to repeatedly explain the same information when using different tools.

How does my profile help my AI tools?

Your profile gives your AI tools important context about your experience, skills, education, preferences, and previous work. This helps Worqly generate more relevant and personalised drafts instead of generic responses. The more detail you include, the more useful and accurate the outputs are likely to be.

Which profile sections should I complete first?

Start with your summary, work experience descriptions, and key skills.

Can I import my CV?

Yes. You can import a CV from the Profile page using a .doc or .pdf. After importing your cv we recommend going through the fields and expanding the details to help you get the most out of the platform.

What happens if I import a new CV?

Importing a CV may update parts of your profile with details from the file. Review the imported content before saving so you can check it looks right as fields may be overwritten. We recommend for small updates to edit the fields directly in your profile.

Chrome extension setup
Where do I install the Chrome extension?

You can download the Chrome Extension from the Chrome Extension store by clicking the "Get Chrome Extension" link from inside your portal.

What does the extension help me do?

The Chrome extension helps streamline your job search by letting you quickly save jobs while browsing major recruitment sites. It also gives you faster access to Worqly tools directly from job pages, helping you organise opportunities, generate insights, and keep track of applications without constantly switching between tabs and platforms.

What if the extension can't capture a job properly?

First try using the rescan option, as this often fixes issues where the job details were not fully detected on the page. If the problem continues, use the manual save where available or capture the job directly in your portal.

The extension isn't working on a page. What should I do?

First try refreshing the page and reopening the extension, and make sure the extension has permission to run on the website you are using and that you are signed in to your Worqly account. If the issue continues, try removing and re-installing the extension from the Chrome extension store. The extension is designed to work on active job listing websites and career pages, and may not function correctly on browser settings pages, PDF files opened in your browser, blank tabs, or other non-job-related pages. For the best experience, open the extension while viewing a supported job posting or application page.

How do I pin the Worqly extension to my Chrome toolbar?

You can pin the extension to your browser toolbar so it is easier to access while browsing job sites. In Chrome, open the Extensions icon near the address bar and select the pin icon next to Worqly.

Why can't I save a job from a website?

Some websites structure job pages differently, which can occasionally make automatic capture more difficult. First try using the rescan option in the extension. If the issue continues, use the manual save option or add the job directly from your Worqly portal.

Why does the extension work on some websites but not others?

The extension is designed to work best on supported job boards and career websites. Some websites use unusual layouts, security restrictions, or embedded job systems that can affect automatic capture. If you regularly use a popular job board that is not currently supported, we would love to hear about it. Your feedback helps us prioritise future improvements and expand compatibility across more platforms.

Can the extension auto-submit applications for me?

No. It does not submit applications for you.

Saving jobs
How do I save a job?

The quickest way to save jobs is through the Chrome extension while browsing supported job and recruitment websites. When you open a job page, the extension can capture the job details and save them directly into your Worqly account so you can track the role, generate insights, and use AI-powered tools linked to that specific job. You can also manually add jobs at any time using the "Add a Job" option on the Jobs page inside the portal.

Can I save jobs manually without the extension?

Yes. You can manually save jobs using the "Add a Job" option in the portal. This is useful if a role is not listed on a supported site or if you prefer to manage jobs directly from your dashboard.

What if I save the same job twice?

In most cases, the extension will detect that the job has already been saved and give you the option to open the original saved job instead. You can still choose to save the role again if needed, but this may create duplicate entries in your Jobs area. Keeping one clean version of each job is recommended so your tracking and AI tools stay organised.

Can I delete a saved job?

Yes. You can permanently delete a saved job from the Job Detail page inside your portal if you no longer want to track or manage that role.

Why is a saved job missing information?

In some cases, job websites may limit or hide certain information on the page. You can manually edit and improve saved job details from inside your portal to make the role more useful for tracking and AI-powered features.

Job tracking and statuses
What should I do after applying for a job?

After applying, make sure to update the status of that job to "Applied". You can do this directly through the Chrome Extension or open that job in your portal and update its status so your pipeline stays current.

What do the job statuses mean?

Saved means you bookmarked it. Applied means you submitted an application. Progressed means you moved forward. Interview requested means you were invited to interview. Offer means you received an offer. Not progressed for this role means the process ended for that role.

Can I update a job status later?

Yes. You can update status at any time from the jobs list or job detail pages.

AI Tools to support your job search
What is AI Toolbox in my portal?

AI Toolbox is the area of Worqly where you can access AI-powered features designed to support different parts of your job search. Depending on the tools available on your plan, this can include support for application questions, cover letters, interview preparation, and other job application tasks. The tools work best when used alongside a complete profile and saved jobs.

Should I copy AI answers directly into applications?

Yes, but we recommend checking all answers created before submitting. AI-generated content can make mistakes. You are responsible for any application content you submit to employers, so always review AI-generated content carefully to check the accuracy, tone, spelling, and relevance before sending them as part of an application.

Should I include skills I have not actually used?

No. It is always better to be honest about your level of experience. Employers may ask follow-up questions during interviews, so you should only include skills and technologies you genuinely understand or have worked with in your Profile.

What should I do if an answer is not accurate?

Review and edit the generated answer before using it. In many cases, improving your profile information with more details can help generate more relevant and accurate results when you try again.

How do I make AI answers sound more like me?

With some features, you can choose a tone to be used for AI outputs. However, adding specific outcomes, projects, or experiences from your background will usually make answers feel more natural and authentic.

What happens if my profile or saved job does not have enough detail?

AI tools rely on the information available in your profile and saved jobs. If either is missing important details, you may receive more generic outputs or generation may not be possible. Adding stronger context usually improves the quality and relevance of the outputs.

I clicked generate but nothing happened. What should I do?

First check that your current plan includes access to the feature you are trying to use. You can review your available features in your portal settings. If access is included, make sure your profile and saved job contain enough detailed information, as some AI features may not work well with limited context.

Why are my AI outputs too generic?

Generic outputs are usually caused by limited information in your profile or saved jobs. Adding more detailed experience, achievements, responsibilities, skills, and job information gives Worqly more context and often leads to more personalised and relevant drafts.

Why is the generated content different each time?

AI-generated outputs may vary slightly between generations depending on the information available in your profile, saved jobs, selected tone, and the wording of your request. This variation helps create more personalised, unique content rather than repetitive or overly generic responses, allowing you to tailor applications more effectively to different roles and employers.

The AI response stopped halfway through. What should I do?

Try generating again after refreshing the page. If the issue continues, check your internet connection and make sure your profile and saved job contain enough information for the feature to work properly.

I updated my profile but the output still looks old. What should I do?

Try regenerating the output after saving your latest profile updates. Some features may continue using older generated drafts until a new version is created.

Why can't I see a feature on my account?

Some features may depend on your current plan or rollout availability. You can review your available features and plan details in your portal settings.

I accidentally closed an AI output. Can I get it back?

Many generated outputs are automatically linked to the saved job they were created for. Open the related job inside your portal to check for previously generated answers, cover letters, or saved drafts. If it's not there you may have to regenerate the output again.

Application questions
What is Quick Answer?

Quick Answer helps you generate answers for job application questions using the information available in your Worqly profile and the details from your saved job. This allows the feature to create personalised and role-specific answers instead of generic responses. The more complete your profile and saved job information are, the better the answers are likely to be. Spend less time thinking up new responses for every application and let Worqly help you create tailored answers faster, so you can apply to more jobs with less effort.

What is Quick Fill?

Quick Fill helps speed up job applications by allowing you to quickly populate common application fields using information already stored in your Worqly profile. You can click supported fields such as your name, email address, work history, and other standard details to automatically fill them in instead of entering the information manually each time.

How do I get better application answers?

The quality of your answers depends heavily on the information available in your profile and saved jobs. Adding more detail about your experience, responsibilities, achievements, education, and skills gives Worqly more context to work with, which usually results in stronger and more personalised drafts.

Can I save generated answers?

Generated answers are automatically saved to the specific job they were created for inside your Jobs area in the portal. This makes it easier to return to previous drafts, continue editing them later, and keep your application materials organised by role.

Generating answers does not work for me. What should I do?

First, check that your current plan includes access to the feature. You can review your available features and plan details in your portal settings. If generation is still not working, make sure your profile and saved job contain enough detailed information, as the system may not be able to create a suitable answer if there is not enough context available.

Cover letters
How do I generate a cover letter?

You can generate cover letters from both the Worqly portal and the Chrome extension while viewing supported job pages. When using the portal, open one of your saved jobs and launch the cover letter tool from there. The feature uses information from your profile and the saved job details to help create more personalised cover letter drafts tailored to the role you are applying for.

Why can't I generate a cover letter yet?

First, check that your current plan includes access to the cover letter feature. You can review your available features and plan details in your portal settings. If generation is still unavailable, your profile or saved job may not contain enough detailed information yet, which can limit the system’s ability to create a suitable and personalised cover letter draft.

How do I change my name on my cover letter?

Your cover letter uses the personal information stored in your Worqly profile. If you need to update your name, go to your Profile or Settings page in the portal and edit your details there. Future generated cover letters will then use your updated information.

Interview preparation
What is Interview Intelligence?

Interview Intelligence helps you prepare for upcoming interviews with structured, company-specific guidance designed to support your preparation process. Depending on the company and role, reports may include insights into the organisation, likely interview focus areas, example questions, preparation guidance, and other useful context to help you feel more prepared before an interview.

How do I know if I can use Interview Intelligence?

If this feature is available on your account, you'll see it in the portal.

I can't create Interview Intelligence for the company I am interviewing with. Why?

Worqly currently reviews data on over 3,000 of the world’s largest organisations to generate relevant Interview Intelligence reports. These companies cover many of the most recognised employers and major global organisations, but not every company is currently available. New organisations are added regularly over time. If there is a company you would like to see included in the future, please contact support with your recommendation.

Can I use Job Coach Assistant to help with interview preparation?

Yes. If your plan includes Job Coach Assistant, you can use it to support your interview preparation by asking questions related to a saved job in your portal. For example, after saving a job, you could ask something like: “Give me three questions I may be asked for this interview” or “Help me prepare for an interview with this company.” Make sure the job is saved in your portal first so the assistant has the relevant job and company information available as reference material.

Billing and plans
How do I update my billing plan?

Go to Settings > Subscription where you can change your plan and manage your billing details.

How do I manage or cancel my subscription?

Use Manage Billing in Settings > Subscription to cancel your plan any time. Your billing will then be stopped at the end of the current cycle.

What happens if I downgrade from Pro to Free?

You will still keep your Worqly account, saved jobs, profile information, and existing data. However, access to Pro-only features will be lost.

What happens if payment fails?

If a payment cannot be processed, you may see a billing warning inside your account and be asked to update your payment details. In some cases, access to paid features may be limited until the issue is resolved.

Where can I compare plans?

You can compare available plans and their features from the Subscription area inside your portal settings. This is also where you can manage upgrades, billing, and plan changes.

I’ve been taken to Stripe to make a payment. Who are they?

Stripe is Worqly’s payment provider and is used to securely process subscription payments and billing. Stripe is one of the world’s largest online payment platforms and is trusted by millions of businesses globally to handle online transactions securely.
